"When I meditated on the word GUIDANCE, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable. When one person realizes and lets the other lead, then both begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge or by pressing lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one, moving beautifully. Dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word GUIDANCE. When I saw "G," I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i." . . . "God, "u" and "i" dance." God, you, and I dance.
This statement is what guidance means to me. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings, protection and mercies be upon you and your family on this day and every day. May you abide in Him as He abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting Him to lead and guide you through each season of your life."

so how i spent my birthday this year..?
1. posing as Ms. santa claus giving out DOUGHnuts on friday to the simei kiddos (: glad you guys loved it.! pity ailin and singing was too far away. i'll get more next time (:
2. going to bukit gombak to cheer serene, zeling and cherrin (: congrats cherrin for getting into finals for both 100m and 200m! and 7th for 200m (: congrats ze for 6th in triple jump! and last but not least congrats twin for getting into finals for 400m! 5th qualifier!! though i may not be able to turn up next week, i wish you all the best and GO!! get your medals!!! jiayou!
3. had dinner with mum and aunts and grandma at the singapore yacht club. yum. (: i received angbaos too. cool.
4. sunday morning service.
5. lunch after service at katong for laksa (: thanks joseph for the yummylicious treat!! (:
6. sunday afternoon cell group meeting-cum-gathering at settler's cafe katong (: i still cant believe birthday girls' actually get bullied on their birthdays. haha x) muz be i too pro! hrmph! but hey!! girls still beat the guys in that saboteur(thanks GP rep) game!! we won by ONE gold nugget!!! muahaha
7. visit grandpa with a spending thought. i bought youghurt icecream for myself. pineapple tarts and some rice ball for grandpa. total spent>$10.
8. came home. no ice cream to binge on but tv to watch (:
9. most importantly ending off with a very long phone call from farfaraway in new zealand. loves naddie!! (: MUACKS!!! although i know i was very bitchy last night :p

wow. tuesday was the last day of school. graduation day. (:
fond memories for keeps that for sure. never noticed how much 0506 bonded in juz one year. still remember last year after promos we had talks with mr liew regarding class bonding. well 0506 iz still the last class in the whole cohort. but hey, we really have bonded alot. (: thank you 0506 and everyone in it. my years in tj would never be the same without you guys. namely jud, shu, rae, chuan, ken, dictionary, tofu, nicky, government and many more. (: hugs!
not forgetting track mates as well. for making trainings enjoyable and wonderful. so much so that i really do miss trainings. esp last dec ones. jon, tzejie, serene, jud. and this june, debbie, jud, cherlyn.... so many more. sigh. glad to hear you guys are all doing great! (: jon's grades are sky high and debbie got promoted to next year (: you guys will be my motivation to want to ever come back to tjc again after graduation that's for sure. and i miss mr teo too. rah! wonder when will i get to see him again.. and yes, jud. thanks for being with me throughtout the whole past 2years. you're really like an angel God sent from above to keep me company and be my friend (: not only in class but out on the track as well. (: thank you.

(: cool speech. inspiring and motivating. if mr teo were to hear it i'm sure mr teo would have been equally proud of him. standing tall and displaying confidence. delievering a speech with the flow and charisma of a true sportsman. (: three cheers! captain i'm sure gonna miss you lots!! (: the rest of SAC didn't hold much sentimental value cuz trackNfield seemed to have been neglected totally. sadd. oh wells! (:

oh. and arent these cute?? x) jelly babies that's what they're called.. rodney gave me 4of them outta his whole bottle.. thanks rodney!!!! (: apparently they osmosized a little on the way home since i brought them home in my little "watering can" :D and i tink the blue one's having a little problem with its osmosis system. its not as big as the other three!!!! ): argh. btw, they actually glow in water. cool eh!!! :p
oh and we had our TJC openhouse today. haha x) and eugenia and a few other badminton girls dropped by tj as well (: and thanks to them i got to play badminton too!!! :D missed playing that. even though i had to use lousy rackets. but oh well!! i had my little bit of fun. right kenneth?? xD whee

it really has been quite some time since i enjoyed myself so much (: really. going out with ARVIN JUD SERENE ZE will always be the best company ever to hang out with (: thank you guys so much for tonight!!! it feels good to be like a child again.. and with the best company to be children together with (: gosh. pasir ris park will be my favourite hangout place with you guys now.
and today's the first time i saw arvin's car. and today's the first time i sat in his new car. omg. way cool :p but sharks i didnt notice his car plate number, else would have asked me mum to buy 4D for me :D oh well!! and sure he's right, it doesn't seem like its his father's car. it really seemed like it iz his own car. and it really is. omg ARVIN!!! i wanna be like youuuuuuuuu!!! (:
well despite the long walk along orchard, arvin treated us to sushi teh at paragon (: yummy. thanks for the treat!! (: it was yummylicous (: and ice cream balls are yummy. and unagis are sweet :D
after dinner we did smth crazy. we sat on the merry-go-round. the one with the horses that go up and down and down and up x) serene jud and i made hell lotsa noise considering paragon was erm almost empty x) bleh :p but it was fun. haha. but i doubt i'll ever do that again!!!!!!!! xD
sent kaisheng home and headed to downtown east. did i say?! zeling actually drove us for a while.. it was alright.. juz erm that little bit scary. baha!! but hey!! at least she can drive!!! (: slacked out a while found out the arcade was closed so off we went. headed to pasir ris park.
today's the first time i climbed the spiderweb structure til so high. though i didnt make it til to top but haha.. thanks arvin for encouraging me!!!! and erm i did squeal quite abit. bleh :p but anyway sense of achievement. i'm gonna one day climb to the top of that web! (: played quite abit over there. the swings the obstacle thingy the merry go round. haha x) i unglamly sprawled on the merry go round la. x) baha! but it was fun (: CRAZY FUN (:
sweaty. arvin drove us back individually (: thanks lots arvin! (: when i get my driving license i wanna drive with the windows down on the expressway blasting music too (: most of all chaufering people around hanging out til late nights (:
